MSP Kofel reserves the right to alter or remove the content, in full or in part, without prior notice. This disclaimer itself can be updated at any time. Therefore we recommend that you re-visit it regularly to check for any changes. Information about the date of the last update can be found at the end of this disclaimer.

In no event will MSP Kofel be liable for any loss or damage of a material or immaterial nature arising from access to, use or non-use of published information, or from misuse of the connection, or technical faults.

The regulations of this disclaimer do have no influence on eventual contract regulations that you might make or have made with MSP Kofel. The latter prevail over the regulations of this disclaimer.

Data Protection

Please be aware that fundamentally the internet is not a safe environment, and that data transmitted over the internet can be accessible to unauthorized third parties, which can result in disclosure of the data, change of content, or technical faults. Data transmitted over the internet can cross national borders even if sender and receiver reside in the same country. Therefore it is possible that your data is transmitted into a country with lower data protection regulations than in your residential country.

For the security of your data during transmission over the internet MSP Kofel does not take any responsibility or liability whatsoever. Please be aware that you can use other means to communicate with MSP Kofel where you consider it appropriate for data protection purposes.

By means of this website MSP Kofel does not collect any personal data, except if the data is expressly and knowingly provided by you. If this is the case MSP Kofel may use your personal data to market products and services that we think might be of interest to you.

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the provisions of federal data protection legislation, everyone has the right to the protection of their privacy, as well as to protection from misuse of their personal details. MSP Kofel complies with these provisions. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is neither passed on nor sold to third parties.

In close cooperation with our hosting provider, we make every effort to protect the databases as well as possible from outside access, data loss, misuse or falsification.

When you access our websites, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general information on the operating system and browser.

This usage data forms the basis for statistical, impersonal evaluations for the purpose of tracking trends so that MSP Kofel can improve the information on offer. Under the Federal Act on the Surveillance of Post and Telecommunications, there is a statutory duty to store data on all connections made in the past six months.

MSP Kofel may use cookies or tracking bugs to obtain non-personal data (e.g. IP address or session ID) about website usage. Such non-personal data is primarily used for website usage statistics and performance monitoring. Cookies may also be used to facilitate website usage for you (e.g. to remember passwords during a session).

Cookies are just short data strings that cannot perform any operations by themselves. MSP Kofel recommends that you allow the web browser to accept cookies from our website.

Cookies can be activated by following the instructions for your particular browser. Microsoft Internet Explorer: In the “Tools” menu select “Internet options”, click on the tab “Privacy”, under “Settings”, click on the button “Standard” (or move the slider manually to “Medium”), click OK. Mozilla Firefox: In the “Tools” menu select “Options”, select the icon marked “Privacy”, click in the box that allows websites to use cookies (under “Use custom settings for history”), click OK. Google Chrome: In the Customize and Control menu, select “Settings”, in the “Advanced settings” (Privacy, Content settings) find the section “Cookies”, to allow the use of cookies, you have to select “Allow local data to be set” (or “Activate all cookies”), click OK. Safari: Select Safari > Settings, and click on Privacy, in the field “Block cookies”, specify if and when Safari should accept cookies from websites.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies (details about this can be found in the help text of your browser). But note that if you do this, certain personalised functions of our website may no longer be available to you.

You can stop tracking bugs by blocking Javascript in your browser, but this may have the effect that the website does not work correctly any more.

When you choose to make contact with us, your personal data will be stored in a separate database not connected with the anonymous log files.

Within MSP Kofel we transmit and save your personal data in a secured environment, protected e.g. by the use of firewalls. We make every reasonable effort to ensure that your personal data is not exposed to third parties. Excepted from this are third parties that MSP Kofel has appointed to provide services for you. Apart from this we will expose your personal data only if we are required to do so by law or binding regulations.

Possibly your personal data may be stored by MSP Kofel outside of your country of residence. In any case MSP Kofel will make every effort to reasonably secure your data taking into account the applicable laws and regulations.

You may at any time request information about the stored data concerning you, or ask to have it deleted.
